But then how can you be sure that a message has been read by its recipient on Tinder?
On Facebook for example, or simply by text message, you can find out. We receive an acknowledgment or a “seen at xxhxx” notification.
Well if some dating sites like AdoptAGuy, clearly display the status of the message, others do not!
And Tinder, and many other apps in the same genre like Lovoo,don’t allow it. On Tinder, you could never know the status of your message, whether it has been read or not.
And that’s a shame ! Because this would allow us to move on to something else, to move to another profile than to know if our message has been read or not. Whether on Tinder or on other sites/apps for that matter.

If you actually have doubts about whether or not someone has read your message, don’t hesitate to send back a quick note. Of course, without falling into excess or paranoia. Wait enough time between messages.
Because this does not necessarily mean that the said message was not read, perhaps simply that the person has not yet had the time to read it, or quite simply to respond to it. The reasons can be numerous.

Finally, Tinder does not offer a solution to know if a message has been read or not, and that’s a shame as I told you. This would avoid many excess messages, as said above, just to restart the thing.
Tinder, which takes a lot of inspiration from Facebook for its interface (visually speaking) should take inspiration from it for this. Finally, this still allows you to maintain a certain anonymity or rather peace of mind when using the application.
